Artificial grass is a lifelike, UV-resistant synthetic lawn that stays green all year round with no watering or mowing. We sell Dutch Condor Grass artificial grass under the WOWO brand: 10 types with pile heights between 30 and 50 mm, cut to size or as full rolls, from a small balcony to a large garden.

Artificial grass prices
Prices include VAT and are per square metre. There are two ways to buy: cut to size in any quantity, or as a full roll (4 m × 25 m, i.e. 100 m²), where the square metre is cheaper because there is no cutting and no waste. For a large, continuous area, the roll is the better choice; for a smaller area, cut-to-size grass or the project remnants below.

Why Dutch artificial grass?
WOWO artificial grass is made by Condor Grass in the Netherlands, part of the Condor Group: a family-owned group of seven specialised companies and one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of textile floor coverings. Its artificial grass division is one of the world’s largest makers of premium artificial grass; garden lawns are made in the same plant as the turf for FIFA-certified football pitches and sports surfaces.

Documented quality
We supply a factory data sheet for every type: pile height, weight, stitch density and the result of the 6,000-hour UV test in black and white. Unbranded imported rolls come with no such paperwork.

The rolls come to us from the plant in Hasselt, directly from the manufacturer, under the WOWO brand. The products are recyclable, and the manufacturer is moving towards circular, energy-neutral production.
Safe materials
The fibres are lead- and cadmium-free, so the grass can be recommended with confidence to families with young children and to pet owners.
Which pile height should you choose?
30–35 mm: the practical one
The look of a closely mown lawn, easy maintenance, the best price. For gardens with dogs, busy walkways, balconies and large areas.
38–40 mm: the happy medium
Noticeably soft and lush, pleasant even barefoot, but still mid-range in price. We recommend it for family gardens and places to relax.
45–50 mm: the premium look
A deep, lush lawn that is hard to tell apart from real grass. For show gardens and prestige terraces, choose Megan 45 or the Blossom models.
Laying artificial grass
How an artificial grass garden is made
Artificial grass can be laid with basic DIY skills, and we supply laying instructions with your order. On a solid hard surface (terrace, balcony, paving) it is even simpler: the roll is cut to shape on site and fixed with double-sided tape.

Frequently asked questions
Can artificial grass be laid on concrete or paving?
Yes, it can be laid directly on a level, clean, solid hard surface, fixed with double-sided tape. The backing with drainage holes lets water through, so a slight fall or drainage underneath is recommended.
How do you lay artificial grass on soil?
A 5–6 cm compacted crushed stone and sand base goes on the ground, then geotextile, then the grass is rolled out. The joins are held together with tape and the edges with fixing pins; finally, 6–8 kg/m² of quartz sand is spread between the fibres.
Is artificial grass good for terraces and balconies too?
Yes: for a large terrace, a full roll is the best value; for smaller areas, we also cut to size, and for a balcony you can choose from our project remnants too. We show the types suited to terraces and the laying steps on a separate page.
Is it suitable for dogs and children?
Yes, the materials are lead- and cadmium-free. Droppings can be picked up, the surface can be rinsed with water, and the garden will not get muddy even in the heaviest rain.
Can I buy it cut to size, or only as a full roll?
Both. A full roll is 4 m wide and 25 m long, i.e. 100 m²; this is the better price, because there is no cutting and no waste. Cut to size, we supply any quantity, at a slightly higher price per square metre, as the cutting and the offcuts are our cost. For a large, continuous area, the roll is the better choice, as it needs fewer joins.
How well does it stand up to sun and winter?
The fibres are UV-stabilised and pass the 6,000-hour test to DIN 53387, so they do not fade. In winter, frost and snow do not damage them; the grass stays outside all year round.
Does artificial grass get hot in summer?
In blazing sun it gets warmer than real grass; this is true of all artificial grass. Watering cools it down within minutes, and in shaded parts of the garden there is no real difference. Our types with a lighter colour blend warm up less.
Can I buy some for a smaller terrace or a balcony?
Yes: for a small area we cut it to size, so you do not need to buy a full roll. For a cheaper option, choose from the pieces left over from our projects, in set sizes, while stocks last. You will find the current list of pieces further down, and we can give you the exact sizes by phone.
How much does artificial grass cost, including installation?
Our material price ranges between 8 000 Ft and 19 000 Ft per square metre, cut to size; as a full roll, between 5 000 Ft and 13 000 Ft. You can lay it yourself with basic DIY skills using our guide. If you prefer, we can recommend an installer; to get a quote, send us the size of the area.
What is the delivery time?
We order the rolls in from the factory in the Netherlands, and the delivery time is 2–6 weeks; we give the exact date in the order confirmation. The project remnants are in stock and can be collected immediately.
What warranty does the artificial grass have?
All Condor Grass artificial grass comes with a 7-year manufacturer’s warranty covering abnormal wear, UV and weather resistance, and water permeability. In the first year the cover is full, and from the second year it decreases in steps (85% in year 2, 10% in year 7). We supply the warranty certificate with the roll.
