Product description
Rock 35 artificial grass is a hard-wearing garden grass with a 35 mm pile height: a versatile mid-range model that copes well with intensive everyday use.
True to its name, it is the workhorse of the range: it keeps its shape with children, dogs, garden furniture and daily foot traffic. If we had to recommend a single artificial grass for an average family garden, it would be Rock 35.
Technical data
- Pile height: 35 mm; straight PE + curled PP monofilament
- Total weight: 1,930 g/m², density: 21,420 stitches/m²
- Water permeability: 60 litres/min/m²; UV resistance: DIN 53387 (6,000 hours)
- Supplied as: cut to size, or as a full roll (4 m wide and 25 m long, 100 m²); lead- and cadmium-free material
Installation and care
In a garden, lay it on a 5–6 cm compacted base with a layer of quartz sand (6–8 kg/m²); the sand settles between the fibres, protects the weave and stabilises the surface. With intensive use, it is worth brushing it through once a month with a leaf rake, so that flattened fibres stand back up.
Frequently asked questions
Does it really stand up to dogs?
Yes, this model copes particularly well with trampling and scratching; droppings can be picked up once dry, and the surface can be rinsed with water.
Is it suitable under a play area?
Under a home play area, yes: the 35 mm fibre is pleasantly soft, and the sand layer gives it a stable base.
Made by Condor Grass in the Netherlands; it can be ordered cut to size or in full rolls, and you can also see it in person in Budaörs and Békéscsaba.
