Why torroTIMBER?

For anyone who wants a solid German profile but does not need megawood's full range: four surfaces, two to six colours per family, 3–5 m lengths.

The same material as megawood

GCC HOLZart (RELIEF R24 and DOLOMIT 19 × 145 are HARZart): at most 75% wood fibre, PVC-free, a solid profile, Cradle to Cradle Certified® (HOLZart: Platinum, HARZart: Gold).

Thinner profile, better price

16 and 19 mm thick instead of megawood's 21–25 mm: less material, the same durability on a family deck.

Reversible boards

TREND and GLACIER come with two surfaces: before laying, you decide which one faces up.

Reversible: ribbed or grooved, in two widths

torroTIMBER's entry-level profile: a solid, reversible board, ribbed on one side and grooved on the other. The wide 16 × 163 mm and the narrow 19 × 130 mm versions come in the same two colours, in 3 and 4 m lengths.

Embossed, matt surface, in HARZart material

A single-sided board with an embossed, matt-finished surface, 16 × 145 mm, in two shades of the fokus colour family, made of GCC HARZart (with recycled resin). The embossing gives a wood-like grain, and the matt surface shows wear less; according to the manufacturer it is flame-retardant (Cfl-s1).

DOLOMIT is torroTIMBER's premium surface. The wide 16 × 193 mm version is single-sided, with a textured, polished surface and colour variation, in four colours, in 3 and 4 m lengths (5 m in brown and grey only). The 19 × 145 mm version is made of GCC HARZart, single-sided, with a wavy matt surface, in the fokus colours.

Solid GCC joist, 3 m long, anthracite; with a 2.05 m connector. Low build height, it even fits under a door threshold.

The brand has no ready-made panel system; the fence is built from rhombus slats, planks and posts: from the same solid GCC material as the deck, with a hidden clip.

We quote based on the size of your deck and the profile you choose: boards, substructure, clips and the CONSTEP components, in one list. Ordering full packing units gives a better unit price; split packs carry a manufacturer's surcharge, shown in the quote.

What is the difference between torroTIMBER and megawood?

The same manufacturer (NOVO-TECH, Aschersleben) and the same GCC material (HOLZart; RELIEF R24 and DOLOMIT 19 × 145 are HARZart), but torroTIMBER is made up of thinner, 16–19 mm profiles, with fewer surfaces and colours, in 3–5 m lengths. That makes it more affordable; alongside megawood's premium range, with 21–25 mm boards, seven families and six lengths, it is the entry level of German quality.

How much does a torroTIMBER deck cost?

The list price of the boards incl. VAT starts from 38 200 Ft/m² (RELIEF R24 and TREND), and the polished DOLOMIT is the top of the range. On top of that come the 40 × 40 substructure and the clips; we quote the complete materials list for the size of your deck.

Which profile suits which deck?

For a polished surface you can walk on barefoot, DOLOMIT 16 × 193; for an affordable reversible board, TREND (wide 163 or narrow 130 mm); for a wood-look matt surface, RELIEF R24; for wide boards and fast laying, GLACIER. You can see samples in our Budaörs showroom.

What substructure does it need?

torroTIMBER's own solid 40 × 40 mm GCC joists, 3 m long, on rubber pads or on the CONSTEP pedestal system. The clips come in stainless or carbon steel, with screws; we fix the 40 × 40 joists with the 7.5 × 92 mm screw.

Can I build a fence from it too?

Yes: the torroTIMBER rhombus slat, 20.5 × 81 mm, 4.2 m long, in nine colours and fixed with a hidden clip, is made for fences and screens; it is paired with a 40 × 112 plank and a 60 × 90 oval post. The brand has no ready-made fence panel system; for that there is megawood LIMES.

How do I look after it?

No oiling or sanding is needed. Rinse it with water once or twice a year; for stubborn marks, use the manufacturer's GCC Pure Wash cleaning gel or scouring powder with a brush. According to the manufacturer, the colour weathers naturally in the first 6–8 months and then settles.
