Product description
Megan 40 artificial grass is a garden grass with a 40 mm pile height: the softest mid-range choice, a lush garden surface that feels good even barefoot.
40 mm is the happy medium: noticeably softer and lusher than the 35 mm models, but not yet at the premium price level. It suits relaxation gardens, the area around a sunbathing spot and family gardens where comfort matters too.
Technical data
- Pile height: 40 mm; straight PE + curled PP monofilament
- Yarn weight: 1,560 g/m², total weight: 2,420 g/m²
- Water permeability: 60 litres/min/m²; UV resistance: DIN 53387 (6,000 hours)
- Supplied as: cut to size, or as a full roll (4 m wide and 25 m long, 100 m²)
Installation and care
It is laid in the same way as the other models: compacted base, seaming tape, edge fixing, quartz sand. Because the fibre is longer, regular brushing matters more here: it keeps the surface evenly lush.
Frequently asked questions
How much softer is it than a 35 mm grass?
The fibre is 5 mm longer and thicker, a difference you can clearly feel: a more comfortable, cushioned surface for walking barefoot, sitting or lying.
How does ordering work?
You can have it cut to size or in full 4 m wide rolls; we order it from the Condor Grass factory in the Netherlands, and the delivery time is confirmed in the order confirmation.
