Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a decorative panel and an acoustic panel?
A decorative panel is a purely aesthetic covering: it has no sound-absorbing felt backing, but in return it is thinner, lighter and more affordable. The slatted look is similar at first glance, but the function is different.
Which one works on a curved wall?
Flexwood: its flexible backing and narrow, 30 cm wide slat format follow the curves of columns, arches and rounded furniture fronts.
What surfaces can decorative panels be bonded to?
Any flat, clean, solid surface: skimmed or painted walls, plasterboard, OSB. Because they are so light, a strong construction adhesive is enough — no drilling needed.
If reducing echo matters too, take a look at our acoustic slat wall panels: the slatted look is similar, but you also get sound absorption.
