Product description

The PVC Joining Trim is an aluminium trim for the point where two panels meet: it hides the joint and breaks up large surfaces, in gold, black and silver.

On a large wall, two sheets always meet somewhere. The joint can be made without a gap, but with a joining trim the line does not just disappear, it becomes a deliberate, planned division: the metal strip gives the wall a rhythm and splits large, empty surfaces in half.

Technical features

  • Length: 2950 mm, cross-section 16 × 3.8 mm
  • Made of anodised aluminium, in metallic gold, silver and black
  • Fits 2–3 mm thick panels
  • Fixed with adhesive, cut with a hacksaw

Installation

Once the first panel is glued up, slide the trim onto its edge, then guide the next panel into the other groove of the trim and press it into place. This way even a small size difference between the two sheets disappears.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to use it?

No, the edges of Lumina panels can be butted together without visible joints. The joining trim is a good choice if the wall is not perfectly flat, or if you want to divide the surface on purpose.

How many do I need?

As many as there are vertical sheet joints on the wall. For a wall of three sheets, about 3.6 metres wide, usually two.

Where to use it

  • Sheet joints
  • Large wall areas
  • Living rooms
  • Offices
