Product description

The Acoustic Panel Edging Strip is a colour-matched finishing strip for acoustic slat panels: it covers edges and joints, so the wall looks factory-finished.

The edging strip is made from the same veneer as the panel slats, so the finish does not look like an add-on but like part of the panel. It is the most discreet way to give the edge of an acoustic panel wall a tidy look: neither the felt nor the cut ends of the slats are left showing.

Technical features

  • Length: 2700 mm, matched to the 270 cm panel height
  • Colours: gold, walnut, forest grey, silver, dark grey and teak
  • Same veneer surface as the panel slats
  • Fixed with adhesive, cut with a fine-toothed blade

Installation

Once the panels are up, glue the edging strip to the edge of the panel area, or where two panel areas meet. When cutting, keep the veneer side facing up so the edge does not splinter.

Frequently asked questions

Which colour should I choose?

The one that matches the colour of your panel. For the Oak panel, for example, the gold or the teak strip comes closest; for dark slats, the walnut or the dark grey.

How many strips do I need for a wall?

Usually two: one for the left and one for the right edge of the panel area. If the panel does not reach the ceiling, you also need a piece cut horizontally to finish the top edge.

Where to use it

  • Covering the edges and joints of acoustic panels
