Product description
The PVC Corner Trim is an aluminium finishing piece for external (positive) wall panel corners: it covers the cut panel end and gives a factory-quality edge.
Where two panelled walls meet at an external corner, a cut PVC edge on its own will never look good. The corner trim covers it in one go, and an impact-resistant metal edge also protects the corner from everyday knocks. It comes in gold, silver and black, and can be fixed with adhesive or clamped between the panels.
Technical features
- Length: 2950 mm, made of anodised aluminium
- Colours: gold, silver and black
- Fixed with adhesive or clamped between the panels
- Cut to size with a hacksaw or an angle grinder
Installation
It is best to fit the trim in place before gluing the panel, so that the edge of the panel slides into the groove of the trim. When cutting, always keep the visible side facing up and use a fine-toothed blade, so the edge does not burr.
Frequently asked questions
Which colours is it available in?
We keep it in stock in gold, silver and black. It is worth matching the colour to the panel, the taps or the light fittings.
Can it be glued, or does it need screws?
It can be glued: the same PVC mounting adhesive that holds the panel holds the trim. There is no need to screw it, and we do not recommend it, because the screw heads would show.
