Product description

The Metal U Decorative Trim is a U-shaped metal trim for acoustic slat panel edges: it frames the panel surface in contrast and protects the ends of the slats.

The slat ends and the edge of the felt are the most delicate points of an acoustic panel wall. The U trim wraps around them and at the same time finishes the panel area with a striking frame: with a metallic gold or silver border, the wall does not just ‘run out’, it ends deliberately.

Technical features

  • Length: 3000 mm, cross-section 10 × 30 mm
  • Made of durable metal, in gold and silver
  • Designed for the 21 mm edge thickness of acoustic panels
  • Fixed with adhesive, cut with a hacksaw

Installation

Slide the trim onto the edge before fitting the panel. If you want to frame the panel area all the way round, join the corners mitred at 45 degrees.

Frequently asked questions

Which colours is it available in?

Gold and silver. With dark slats (walnut, dark grey), gold is the stronger pairing; with light or metallic panels, silver.

How is it different from the Acoustic Panel Edging Strip?

The U decorative trim gives a metallic, contrasting frame. The edging strip is a discreet finish matched to the panel colour, where the transition is almost invisible.

Where to use it

  • Finishing acoustic panel edges
  • Framed wall areas
