Product description
The White Limestone PVC Wall Panel is a light, textured stone-effect covering in 3 mm waterproof PVC; with adhesive, you can put it up in a single weekend.
The off-white limestone pattern reflects light, so it makes a room look bigger: it is the most rewarding choice for small bathrooms, darker hallways and north-facing rooms. It looks its best with natural wood in Scandinavian and Japandi interiors, and with black fittings in modern spaces.
Technical features
- Sheet size: 3000 × 1220 × 3 mm; coverage: 3.66 m²/sheet
- Tactile, textured stone surface in a matt off-white shade
- 100% waterproof and mould-resistant; there is no grout, so mould has nowhere to settle
- Lightweight sheet; heat-resistant up to 80 °C
- Indoor wall covering (not for outdoor use)
Installation
It is fixed with dabs of adhesive to a flat, dust-free surface; it also holds on plasterboard and on old tiles prepared with a bonding primer. Because the surface is light, it is worth sealing the joints with white or clear sanitary silicone, so the wall looks completely uniform. Cut it with a utility knife against a straightedge.
Cleaning
Fingerprints and soap marks wipe off the smooth, non-porous PVC with a microfibre cloth and mild soapy water. Avoid scouring sponges and strong acidic products.
Frequently asked questions
Won’t the white surface turn yellow over time?
Lumina panels have been tested for a service life of 10–30 years; indoors, away from UV, the surface keeps its colour for the long term. We do not recommend it under direct, all-day sunshine (in a conservatory).
Is it suitable as a kitchen splashback behind the hob?
Yes, it is excellent behind electric and induction hobs, because it is heat-resistant up to 80 °C and its surface can be degreased. It must not, however, be placed right next to a gas flame.
How much waste should I allow for?
On a simple, straight wall a 5–10% allowance is enough; on a wall broken up by windows or curves, allow 10–15%. We can calculate the exact number of sheets on request.
