Product description
The Teak Acoustic Slat Panel is a warm teak-toned slatted wall panel with a sound-absorbing felt backing: it cuts echo and gives your wall a wooden surface.
It is the most popular colour in the collection. The mid-brown teak veneer suits almost any interior: behind the TV in a living room, on the wall above the table in a dining room or even on the ceiling, it gives an elegant, Scandinavian look while audibly ‘calming’ the room.
Construction and how it works
- Premium wood veneer slats with a natural, stained wood grain
- MDF core with CARB P2 certification (low formaldehyde emissions)
- Polyester felt backing: this absorbs the sound and provides the acoustic function
- Sound reaching the gaps between the slats is absorbed by the felt: the room’s reverberation time shortens, speech becomes clearer and music cleaner

Installation and care
The panel can be cut to size with a circular saw or a jigsaw fitted with a fine-toothed blade, so the veneer does not splinter. Clean it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth; harsh chemicals damage the veneer.
Frequently asked questions
Does it soundproof, or ‘only’ reduce echo?
The panel is sound-absorbing: it noticeably reduces echo and noise within the room. On its own it does not block sound coming from a neighbouring room; that needs changes to the wall structure itself.
How many panels do I need for a 3 m wide TV wall?
A 3 × 2.7 m wall (8.1 m²) needs 5 panels, and the 2.7 m panel height matches an average ceiling height.
Can it really go on the ceiling?
Yes, both glued and screwed; echo reduction is most effective on the ceiling, because it covers the largest continuous ‘empty’ surface.
