Product description
The Carrara PVC wall panel, with its classic white base and elegant grey marble veining, gives interiors a timeless, premium look without grout or tiling.
The pattern, inspired by natural Carrara marble, creates a light, clean overall effect, and the high-gloss surface makes the finish even more striking. It is at its best where the wall itself is the centrepiece: above the basin in a bathroom, as a splashback in a kitchen, behind the TV in a living room or as a feature wall in a hallway.
Technical features
- Sheet size: 2800 × 1220 × 2.7 mm, i.e. 3.42 m² per sheet
- High-gloss, grey marble veining on a white base
- 100% waterproof, mould-resistant and grout-free; for indoor use
- Heat-resistant up to 80 °C, easy-to-clean surface
- Can be cut with a utility knife or a circular saw, and bonded without a backing board
Installation
It is fixed with PVC mounting adhesive directly onto the existing wall, onto plasterboard or, with a bonding primer, onto old tiles, with no demolition. A single sheet covers a whole section of wall, so installation is typically measured in hours, not days. Sheets are joined with a joining trim, and exposed edges are finished with an end trim.
Cleaning
Clean with a damp cloth and water with a little washing-up liquid. Scouring products and abrasive sponges leave marks on the high-gloss surface, so avoid them.
Frequently asked questions
How is it different from the Calcatta panel?
The Carrara’s veining is bolder and greyer, while the Calcatta’s is finer and more understated. The Carrara is also thicker: 2.7 mm against the Calcatta’s 2 mm.
Is it suitable for a bathroom or a shower?
Yes, the panel is fully waterproof and grout-free, so it can go on a shower wall too, combined with a liquid waterproofing membrane.
How much area does one sheet cover?
3.42 m². On an average wall with a 2.7 m ceiling height, one sheet covers the full height in a single piece, with no horizontal joint.
